Dance-tech

(page in construction)

Regular training in dance and movement is at the heart of my practice as an artist-performer.

I am interested in a dance whose process goes beyond the choreographed gesture. My dance is based on the search of a “meta” movement as well as a “meta-intra” gesture. This dance-movement continues beyond and outside the dancer’s body and is activated within the dancer’s body and prolonged beyond her/his matter, fascias and fluids (meta-intra). This experience of movement relates to what Karen Barad, philosopher and physicist, calls "touching within": touching the other in the infinite and thus me in this other and, by being sensitive to myself, meeting the other in me.

It relates a well to my approach of dance and tech, looking at organic and tech matters as a continuum.
